    • Boldin still works out every day...

Boldin still works out every day and believes he could continue playing in the NFL if he wanted to, though he said he hasn't put too much thought into the matter recently, Jeff Zrebiec of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Analysis: Boldin signed with the Bills last year during training camp and retired a couple weeks later to focus on humanitarian work, with his assessment of the Buffalo roster possibly a factor in the decision. He reportedly still had some level of interest in playing as of late October, but the Bills didn't surrender their rights to the 37-year-old wideout until the start of the new league year Wednesday. Boldin is free to sign with any team, but he's currently focused on his work with the Players Coalition, helping prospects prepare for the upcoming draft. While he might be enticed by an opportunity to play close to his home in Florida, neither the Dolphins nor Bucs are in need of a veteran possession receiver. The Panthers, Falcons and Saints could use a No. 3 receiver, but each of the three seems more inclined to test out younger, faster players.

    • Wallace, an unrestricted free agent, could...

Wallace, an unrestricted free agent, could return to the Ravens,'s Jamison Hensley reports.

Analysis: The Ravens signed Michael Crabtree and John Brown to replace Wallace, Jeremy Maclin and Michael Campanaro, but the team still could bring back one of its veterans if the price is right. Wallace doesn't seem to be generating much interest in free agency, despite leading an undermanned Baltimore offense in receiving yards both of the past two years. it doesn't help that he'll turn 32 in August, but he's only missed two games in a nine-year career and is coming off back-to-back seasons in which he's averaged above 8.0 yards per target.

Bostic (knee) is signing a two-year contract with the Steelers, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Analysis: With Ryan Shazier (spine) already ruled out for the upcoming season, Pittsburgh has a glaring need at inside linebacker alongside incumbent 16-game starter Vince Williams. A 2013 second-round pick, Bostic has never quite lived up to his draft status, although he did pile up 97 tackles in 14 games while handling a three-down role for the Colts last season. He may need to compete with Tyler Matakevich (shoulder) -- and possibly another free agent or draft pick -- for the starting job. The oft-injured Bostic finished last season on IR due to a knee injury of unknown severity.

Foles will collect a $3 million roster bonus from the Eagles, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Analysis: The bonus already was fully guaranteed, but the Eagles could've avoided the cap hit if they'd traded Foles by Saturday. While this doesn't necessarily rule out a trade, the team presumably would have preferred to deal Foles before the bonus kicked in. It does make sense to keep him around, as there's no guarantee Carson Wentz will be recovered from a torn ACL in time for Week 1.

    • LaFell will collect a $1 million...

LaFell will collect a $1 million roster bonus, Katherine Terrell of reports.

Analysis: The Bengals surely would like to see some combination of John Ross (shoulder), Tyler Boyd and Josh Malone step up and push LaFell back to fourth or fifth on the depth chart, but it nonetheless makes sense to keep the 31-year-old around as insurance, given that he carries a modest 2018 base salary of $2.55 million, per OverTheCap. The team likely would've released LaFell before Sunday if it planned to do so at all, as his $1 million roster bonus now is guaranteed. He caught 64 of 106 targets for 862 yards and six scores in his first season with the Bengals, but then dropped off to a 52-548-3 receiving line on 88 targets last year. LaFell has only missed nine games in eight NFL seasons, and he's played all 16 games four of the past five seasons.
