Baugh (undisclosed) was waived by the Panthers on Friday, per the NFL's official transaction log.

Analysis: Baugh was waived/injured by the team at roster cutdowns, but he reverted to injured reserve after clearing waivers and remained there the rest of the season. The 25-year-old went undrafted out of Ohio State in 2018 and has yet to make his NFL debut.

The Jaguars have exercised their option on Wilson's contract for 2020, John Oehser of the team's official site reports.

Analysis: Wilson's career-best 2019 campaign, in which he notched 79 tackles (57 solo), four defended passes, two interceptions and one forced fumble across 16 regular-season contests, has earned him a clear path to Jacksonville's starting free safety gig for 2020. Now locked up through 2021 and possessing a relatively safe floor in terms of tackles, the 26-year-old could be a worthwhile IDP asset for 2020.

The Bears released Amukamara on Friday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Analysis: Amukamara started 42 games the past three years in Chicago, averaging 55.7 tackles, 9.7 pass defenses and one interception per season. He arguably took a step back in 2019, but he still finished 41st among 113 qualified cornerbacks in PFF's grading. Amukamara will turn 31 in June and should be able to find another starting job.

The Bears released Gabriel (concussion) on Friday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Analysis: Gabriel made it through two seasons of a four-year, $26 million contract, producing 41.6 receiving yards per game and six touchdowns in 25 regular-season appearances for the Bears. He suffered two concussions in 2019, with the second keeping him out for the final five weeks of the season. With the 29-year-old speedster out of the picture, Riley Ridley and Javon Wims could be in the mix for a starting job in Chicago, though the team still has free agency and the draft ahead to find better options at wide receiver. Veteran cornerback Prince Amukamara also was released Friday, with the two transactions clearing out a combined $13.5 million in 2020 cap space, per Field Yates of ESPN.
